Don't dismiss Pasir Ris just because the sea water quality is not as clear as the beautiful beaches of Australia. Because according to my dad, when he was a little kid Pasir Ris was Singapore's most beautiful beach! Pristine WHITE sand! In fact I googled and the phrase pasir ris means ‘white sand’ in Malay and was used to describe the long stretch of sandy beach along Singapore's coastline!
